Polar Plunge

Camp Margaritaville Crystal Beach was happy to host the East Region Polar Plunge benefiting the Special Olympics this past Saturday. A total of $12,000 was raised for these wonderful athletes through 80 registrants. The participants (most in costumes) plunged into the 50 degree side of the Camp Margaritaville Texas sized pool and immediately relaxed in their two 40 person hot tubs. The kids enjoyed face painting, bingo and other fun activities after the plunge. A great time was had by all. [photos by Harlee Haag]
