Polls will be open on May 11 from 7 am to 7 pm at the JOE FAGGARD COMMUNITY CENTER, 1750 Highway 87 in Crystal Beach, to cast your ballot in the election to create an Emergency Services District (ESD) on Bolivar to fund emergency medical services. If approved, the ESD will have the authority to levy an ad-valorem tax on Bolivar property. The ESD is supported by the Volunteer Fire Departments of Port Bolivar, Crystal Beach, and High Island, and endorsed by the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and the Bolivar Special Utilities District.
