Distinguished Members of the Southeast Texas Veterans Service Group stood in formation, rifles at the ready as a Memorial Wreath was uncovered and presented to the crowd.
The Southeast Texas Veterans Service group conducted a 21 gun salute to the fallen.
The Lone Star Bagpipe Band playing Amazing Grace as the crowd watched in silence.
As TAPS was played on the bugle, all eyes and hearts were turned to the huge American Flag.
Spectators signing a memorial banner with their personal note for the fallen. At the conclusion of the Memorial Service, the wreath, notes and flowers were transported to Orange, Texas to be displayed on the burial site of a US Marine killed in action, April 5th, 2004 Afghanistan.
