TCF Announces the Music Lineup for the 2024 Festival

The Texas Crab Festival announced the 2024 Music Entertainment lineup, and this year’s headliners include some hefty credentials. Bringing together a variety of artists, TCF will celebrate music, art, and crabs – gulf coast style – throughout Mother’s Day Weekend, May 10-12 in Crystal Beach, Texas. Friday night’s live music opens with Big Jordan Band – a fun, high energy band with a red-dirt country, blues, Americana feel. “It’s always a party with Big Jordan.” The evening is headlined by Louisiana and Gulf Coast Museum’s Hall of Fame member, Wayne Toups, with his unique brand of Cajun, Zydeco, R&B, and Rock music. Toups has toured the world but has always found a home here in Crystal Beach. He has long been dubbed ‘The Cajun Springsteen’ or others simply call him ‘Le Boss.’ You won’t want to miss his ‘Cajun fusion with a Rock & Roll attitude.’

Saturday’s music lineup opens with the Galveston Ukulele Society followed by a welcomed return of 3 Way Switch, coming back as one of the most popular bands on the local music scene. Then up is the very entertaining Little Comic the 10 year old aspiring hip hop/pop artist. Next is PopGun, a power pop cover group hailing from the Golden Triangle delivering a versatile, energetic take on pop and dance hits of the 80s, 90s, and the new millennium.

Saturday evening opens with Texas Flood, a high energy show taking the listener on a journey through the blues. And headlining the 2024 Texas Crab Festival is none other than the award winning Roger Creager, who never fails to deliver his distinctive brand of country music and perpetual energy with crowd favorites like “Long Way to Mexico,” “Things Look Good Around Here,” and “I’m From the Beer Joint.”

The Crabfest Committee is still fine tuning the schedule for Sunday, as they are working to provide an entertaining Mother’s Day music lineup.
