Once again, we at Second Going and Bolivar Peninsula Community Outreach would like to thank each and every person who helped us make Christmas happy for many children. Yesterday, the last of the presents were delivered from our group by a volunteer wearing her Santa hat. When she knocked on the door, a young girl answered. Our volunteer said, “Hello, I’m Santa’s helper and I’m here to deliver presents from him.” The little girl’s eyes got very big, she clapped her hands together, and with tears in her eyes she asked, “He knows where we are, he knows we’re with Grandma and Papa?” Her little brother came running to the door all smiles and asked, “Are you really Santa’s helper?”
She answered, “Yes I am, and Santa knows you and your sister and brother have been very good children.” To All who helped make this a Joyous Season all over the Peninsula, Thank You and Merry Christmas!
You warmed my heart for sure. God bless you.
What a wonderful thing. Thank you for your efforts!
Tears of Joy, thank you for all you are doing for our people. Carlis
