It was always about love. Graceful dancer Christie and handsome world famous drummer Michael Feighan fell in love. They married. Then the two fell in love with a little girl named Tatiana residing in a Siberian Orphanage. A lot of work, and a lot of love, enabled the Feighans to finally bring this cute 7 year old from Russia to America. Love of water brought the family to Crystal Beach. Their love deepened as their Christian faith grew. At Community Church Christie shared her talent for liturgical dance, Michael his abilities with voice and drums, and Tatiana with her drum playing talents and love of children.

Tatiana grew up to be beautiful like her mom, talented like her father and loving in many ways. She was also very good in sports. Tatiana fell in love with her prince Ian Mitroff while working at Camp His Way. They married August 27, 2022 at Hope Chapel near Dripping Springs, Texas. Michael and Christie served as her proud escorts. Yet, sadness happens in the best of love stories. Christie Feighan lost her brave battle with cancer. She went to join the angels dancing in Heaven. However, she left a legacy of love to those still here.

Love keeps on growing. Tatiana and Ian are expecting their first child. They have discovered that it is a boy, but not told his name. In the meantime, he is referred to as BUBBLE. Already this baby is loved. Joy Crenshaw opened her heart and gorgeous hacienda-style home for Tatiana’s baby shower. Pastor Kaye Sims, Lani Fuller, Marie Schulz, Tami Cooper and Linda Carole Elissalde were delighted to also be hostesses. The guests were a wonderful mix of many ages. Of special delight was Christie’s mom Georgia Harris, Tatiana’s grandmother, who added more warmth and love.

What a magnificent hello to BUBBLE from a loving group. Joy’s home was decorated with balloons, balloons, balloons. Every table carried something special for Baby BUBBLE. Over 30 attendees comfortably settled in to enjoy watching Tatiana open, and exclaim happily and gratefully for every gift.

Servers Linda, Maria, and Felipe were the best of helpers with food, parking and packages. Marie Schulz planned fun games for the shower. Everyone enthusiastically played every game with gusto. Tami’s liturgy reading created a worshipful, loving finale. Packages were loaded, decorations taken down, and time for a little visit with Tatiana remained. What a joyful day for all! Tatiana talked about her life, adventures and love for BUBBLES who should arrive in April. Everything about the party was truly A STORY OF LOVE.
