Fun and Merry

This past week has been Fun and Merry. First, I went to spend the night with my cousin Barbara so we could go see  A Christmas Carol at the Alley Theater in downtown Houston. The Alley was decorated so lovely, taking pictures was fun, but you had to wait your turn. We eventually made it up the line for a few pictures “just to prove where we were for Christmas Eve.” The play was a matinee which allowed us an early dinner at Birraporetti’s, fantastic meal and service as usual.

Early Christmas morning, Barbara headed to family in Tyler, and I headed to Dianne’s in Pearland. This year, the kids and Di and Chris decided to have a PJ Christmas, all were extremely comfortable. This year, Di did not fix turkey and dressing, we had Chili and tamales. Since all of us are Texans, we all found it delicious and very filling.

Wrapping paper was everywhere and bows a-plenty for Beau to carry around in his mouth and the cat spent most of the day under the bed. Smart cat! Way too many people talking and laughing. I was home before dark, ready to relax in my gown and robe, and ready for a Hallmark movie.

This year, New Year’s will be quiet for me and that is wonderful, just as I like it! Once again in my gown and robe ready for a good movie and maybe some popcorn.

Hope you have a Healthy, Happy and Fun New Year. Let’s stay in touch!
