Entergy reminds customers that in addition to home weatherization practices and reducing energy usage, they can also leverage billing tools and assistance programs to lower energy bills. “The largest billing savings are found in major home appliances, such as air conditioning and water heaters, which combined generate nearly 80 percent of customers’ bills,” said Vernon Pierce, vice president, customer service, Entergy Texas, Inc. “We encourage customers to maximize those savings by using a number of our available website tools and assistance programs during warmer weather conditions.”

Entergy’s energy saving tools and programs includes:
• Analyze My Bill. An interactive tool, which allows customers to learn how much energy they use month to month, and pinpoint where they can save money. It is available at entergy.com/myaccount.
• Money-saving calculators. Customers can access a slew of energy saving tips and calculators at entergy.com/savemoney to determine the best cost cutting scenarios to suite their lifestyle, home and billing needs.
