Shopping, Shopping, Shopping

What a week! The Littles turned 6! Go figure, these little guys, so unique, so unlike from one another. Yet, PawPaw and I got them pretty much the same presents as we do each and every other holiday/Birthday. Yep, Lego Battleship for Fisher and a Lego Aircraft carrier for Riggs. Well, guess who will be putting them together, all 7,000 pieces each. Really, and this is for age 6+.

Good news, there were costumes too! Riggs will be the Police Man and Fisher will be the Army Guy. Daddy let them put on their Army/Police costumes even though they had a baseball game to play in just an hour. Aren’t they adorable?

Meanwhile, there I am in town to shop for something to wear to Jenny’s wedding at the end of this month. My friend, Help Me Rhonda, from the Post Office is getting so tired of me getting packages from Dillards. She knows I’ll be returning each and every thing I order. So Help Me Rhonda, said to me the other day, “Georgia, I’m picking you up on Saturday and taking you to Dillards. You’re going to shop and try stuff on and come up with something to wear to that darned wedding. I know you want to look nice!”

Oh, Rhonda, you guilted me into an actual trip to the Bay Area Mall last Saturday. But, guess what? I didn’t find a darned thing except for a gift for our daughter for her Birthday in June. Listen Rhonda, it was a good trip and I’m happy you guilted me into it! Honest!

Anyway, I have an idea and I came home and ordered just the pair of pants I think will work. I’m hoping when they come in, someone else is at the Post Office to hand me my package. Geez, am I going nuts? Now, I dread going to the Post Office. Maybe I’ll send my husband for the next week.

Speaking of my husband, What A Good Guy! Seriously! Listen, if you happen to be driving a lame golf cart, hitchhiking, or just down on your luck, plan for this event to happen at or around Barrel 89 around 5pm. He’ll be there with our High Maintenance Maezy. He’s always ready to help out. He’ll drive you to your RV or wherever you need to go. He’ll probably bring you by the house for a snack first.

By the way, we have Snickers in the fridge downstairs. My Fed Ex guy, Jordan, is quite aware, and very appreciative. His favorite is PayDay!
