Nope, not yet!

I am trying to keep up with wrapping presents, and I’m happy to say that yesterday, I got pretty much caught up. Good feeling, I managed to clear the kitchen island of ribbon and the kitchen counters are rid of wrapping paper. For now, anyway!
Oh, and we took our picture for our annual Christmas card, and I ordered those yesterday. It wasn’t a pleasant experience unfortunately. The 40% off and the free shipping code they gave me was a dud. This required a phone call, hopefully all is settled. I may be taking them with us to stuff and mail once we get to Tampa. Guess what? Your Christmas greeting from us may be a little late. Not to worry, it’s the thought that counts. Right?
So, when I was done wrapping last evening, I emptied the counters, now, everything is on the bed in one of the back bedrooms.
Email let me know I would be receiving about 6 boxes today (Monday). So excited to go to the post office where another box was waiting for me. What a relief on that one. Then, when I got home, my husband had all the boxes on the dining room table for me to go through.
But first things first. What a beautiful day! I changed out of my work clothes and put on my stinky walking tennies and off to the beach I went for a much-needed walk. Talk about a beautiful day out there! I spend my days at work freezing. They keep the A/C at 68, thank goodness for my little heater. A gorgeous day for a walk, just a 30-minute thing, but it’s getting easier and easier. Those stinky tennies went straight into the washing machine when I got back home.
When I got home, I tackled the boxes that came today and got caught up again thank goodness. Can’t wait until I’m through so I can start baking and getting my Locals’ gifts ready. I have two real weekends until we need to leave for Tampa for Christmas. Perhaps one more shopping outing, I have just a few more things on my list.
No stress, just plugging away. Wish me luck!
