Swinging Success

Recap of the Soaring Eagles Golf Tournament
The Soaring Eagles Golf Tournament took flight last Saturday at The Range, drawing 42 enthusiastic golfers ready to showcase their skills. Teams were formed through a random draw the night before, adding an element of suspense to the competition. Despite battling windy conditions, participants eagerly took on the challenge, vying for victory and a shot at the $25,000 hole-in-one prize.

Before the 9:00 am tee-off, players warmed up with chipping and putting contests, setting the stage for an exciting day ahead. Throughout the tournament, two beverage carts ensured everyone stayed refreshed, while a BBQ provided by Wizard Cookers kept appetites satisfied.

After a day of spirited play, Tim Turner’s team emerged triumphant, finishing at an impressive 9 under par. The race for second place was equally thrilling, with two teams deadlocked until a shootout determined the victor based on closest to the pin from 100 yards out.

Beyond the thrill of competition, the event served a greater purpose, with proceeds benefiting the Eagles’ Building Maintenance Fund. The success of the tournament wouldn’t have been possible without the support of generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and, of course, the passionate golfers who made it all happen.
