Three Strikes You’re Out

By Georgia Osten
Oh, what a grand Father’s Day! We took Most of our Dad’s to the Astro’s game on Sunday. We had PawPaw, our son-in-law, Michael, and our son, Matthew, and Camber met us at Minute Maid. The Moads joined us at the stadium after a short visit with Michael’s parents. Kelly & I had purchased the tickets months ago on StubHub. Pricey, but well worth it! The seats were in right field right behind Kyle Tucker. Many balls were hit in our direction, but we were protected by Michael’s & Dax’s ready gloves. And believe me, they were already warmed up. We got there early so they had plenty of time to hang out at the bull pen waiting for Maldonado or Blanco to throw them a ball. Which they did!

Several of the Astros had their Dads there for Father’s day. The pairs got out on field before the game for the dads to throw to their sons, like a whole slew of first pitches.

We were ahead up until the 7th inning, then we were tied with the Cincinnati Reds 5 to 5. Oops, something went wrong and the Reds began scoring runs. Geez, stop it already! Final 9-7 Reds.

We all met up at Chuy’s @ Nasa Road One for dinner, then the Ostens went back to their home and we all ventured back to the beach. Time to let the dogs out!

Hope all you well-deserved Fathers had a great day. You are loved and cherished EVERY DAY! Thank you for always being there for us!
