Being at the beach this time of year is my favorite season. It is so tranquil and just taking a walk on the beach allows you to hear the waves and see the birds making their daily rounds. In the summer there are so many people that sometime you lose the peacefulness that comes with school starting and the temperature dropping. I see people out walking their dogs and using their metal detectors both enjoying the beauty that God gave us! Since I speak of decorating in this column, I felt that this close to the Christmas Season I wanted to give homage to the best decorator of all. 
I appreciate everyday what God has given us and I am thankful for being able to see his wonderful creations every day! I hope each of you enjoy your holidays and life here at the beach!
Often we use what we have and can find to decorate our beach homes. In this photograph, using these simple chair covers can unify different chairs. These covers are easy to make and can be different for the seasons or to just to change your décor. 
If you are a seamstress these are made like simple pillow cases and the buttons in the back can be anything you desire. If you do not have sewing skills, look for pillow cases in the color or style that you like. Using the European size may work the best for you. As far as decorating with the buttons, your handy dandy glue gun is all you will need. Let your creativity shine through in everything you do. This is just another way of making your home unique and special!
