Jordan Kirwin of Crystal Beach Washers officiated the 3rd Annual Fourth of July Washer Tournament on the beach this past Saturday. The event was sponsored by Margie Falgout of Peace Love & Bikini’s. Forty-eight teams came out for the $1000 grand prize, double elimination competition. The heat was on, literally! Team players scrambled for another ice cold beer and their flip flops to protect from the scorching hot sun. The sand was powdery dry and the breeze blew in steadily from the water as the crowd gathered under the shade of canopies. Congrats to the First Place Team, Home Sweet Holes, Cody Holder and Randy Wistner, both of Crystal Beach.
