Living on the Bolivar Peninsula is a unique experience, especially for our school age children. They may not realize the dynamic of life on Bolivar and Crystal Beach, but the Chamber of Commerce is encouraging them to show their point of view through film or presentation. All students, from Kindergarten to 12th grade, who live on the Peninsula or attend school on the Peninsula are called to submit a video about Bolivar. The choice of topic is optional and the choices are endless, from the Lighthouse to High Island, fishing, birding, history, other beach activities, you name it. A Registration form and Rules and Guidelines can be found on the Chamber website. All presentations must be submitted to the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce by May 1st.
The public will vote at the Crab Festival and a People’s Choice Award will be presented, along with Prize Money. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS
