Inspiring Music, Celebration, Scholarships
For over 30 years, the Easter Sunrise Service, hosted by the Ministerial Alliance on Bolivar, was held on the beach. Last year, weather and tides forced a move to Camp Margaritaville Park. At its new home, the annual Sunrise Service continued this cherished tradition. Lawn chairs and blankets were set on the infield around the stage as the crowd came together in worship and praise. A large band and choir serenaded everyone with inspiring music, opening with “I Saw The Light” and closing with “Glorious Day”. Rev. Valerie Hudson welcomed everyone to this moving celebration. Pastor Daniel Clayton and Pastor Kaye Sims delivered uplifting messages. An offering was collected to help fund youth scholarships. The energy and passion in the air created an unforgettable experience that unites people from all walks of life.
