Starting on June 1, 2012, You’re Living Proof will launch a community health project called
The funds raised will be used to purchase the ophthalmic equipment and optical materials and supplies that are needed to set up an eye clinic to serve the needs of the residents who live on The Bolivar Peninsula.
The new eye clinic will be equipped with the latest technology to provide vision services on-site to patients needing optometric care. The clinic will be staffed by board certified Doctors of Optometry who can provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, and optical services. The eye clinic will also address a critical need for the children on The Bolivar Peninsula who have uncorrected vision problems that prevent them from excelling in school.
You’re Living Proof invites the entire Bolivar Peninsula community to get involved in this community health project in order lo make this vision a reality.
