This past weekend, we had a fantastic community event, the Golf Cart Poker Run. Our group came together so strong and in such numbers to accomplish our best, most lucrative happening in our history. Our history is only one year old actually, we’ve only been together since July of 2012. What I love about this group is that they pour their hearts into everything they do. In the near future, we’ll have another one of our hot dog and sausage on a stick money makers, and I know they’ll jump in again with the same enthusiasm.
The Bolivar Peninsula Lions Club is a fantastic bunch of people. They have hearts as big as Texas! It’s all about helping this community, “paying it forward.”
