The Houston-Galveston Area Council is inviting local organizations (such as chambers of commerce, associations, volunteer and service organizations, churches, fraternal orders, clubs) to a FREE community training to be offered in several locations between August 6th & 9th. This training is aimed at increasing community awareness into your organization’s projects. Discover tools to enhance public awareness, input, and participation in future events and projects with the goal of improving neighborhoods. Organizations may send as many representatives as they wish.
Covering topics including:
– Improving your neighborhood one project at a time
– Public participation as a way of life
– Incorporating public input for planning
– Tools for getting started
