I think my green thumb has died and what to do!! No one, and I mean no one, can kill a plant in 24 hours! I just did in less than 40 Hours! What to do? I must blame someone, but it can’t be me. I know, East Texas is what I’ll blame. My magic green thumb is only a Gulf Coast Thumb and it is sad and trying to tell me. Over the past few months, I have added to the greenery outside on the front porch and back patio. Now, with this said, I told myself no flower bed in the yard because I am too old to be on my hands and knees pulling weeds. I bet everyone that knows me and reads this is laughing their heads off. But, on with this nonsense, I have purchased large pots for plants I know should be in the ground and larger pots for the front porch that should be house plants. All of the above, telling myself this will work, Wrong. Moving to an area other than Gulf Coast may send us into bankruptcy.
Being all knowing, that I am, and moving to East Texas and not waiting to learn from others will surely be my downfall. I have plants that a person should not be able to kill and I have done so in less than two days. This, I will blame on the water hose. Of course, not me. And then I have other plants I have purchased that have died a horrible death from not enough water, that I will blame on the darn wind.
What to do, oh I know, buy more.
