Members of the Tropical Rock Music Association’s 2012 “Band of the Year,” Jerry Diaz & Hanna’s Reef, will be at The Stingaree in Crystal Beach on Saturday, Nov. 24, for a CD release party for their new album, “On a Beach in Mexico.” The musicians will play some of the songs from the CD, plus plenty of beach music during the party, which begins at 7 p.m.
“We travel all over the Gulf Coast – from Corpus Christi to Key West – but we always enjoy coming back to The Stingaree. It’s one of our favorite places to play close to our homes in the Golden Triangle,” Diaz said. “The Stingaree has delicious food and a great atmosphere with a new wooden deck out back that overlooks Galveston Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. We hope to see lots of friends, both old and new, this Saturday.”
