Pastor Marty Boddie is showing his support for the three Methodist Churches where he serves as a full time minister. St. Matthew’s United Methodist in High Island, BayVue United Methodist in Crystal Beach, and Port Bolivar United Methodist Church in Port Bolivar all claim him as their own.
To show his support of the Methodist faith and his congregations, Pastor Marty undertook a spiritual walk from High Island to the ferry landing. Nathan Foreman, Tommy Hughes and Mary Raney joined him in this endeavor. Bill Silverberg and Brenda Hughes also helped.

Pastor Boddie wants all to know that no matter the faith to which they subscribe, or even if they have no faith, they are all invited and welcomed to any of his United Methodist Churches.
