9-7-13 Rollover Pass on Bolivar TX
A 41.12 Inch Redfish caught by Jeremiah Johnson of Winnie TX “coulda-woulda” won the tournament and $350 in cash -BUT- The rule that you had to be present to win foiled his win due to the fact that he couldn’t be present. So it was decided to pay the 2nd place winner if he showed up at 6 pm; but again, none of the five redfish tournament weigh-ins were present at the 6 pm check in time.
So it was decided to hold the $305 cash prize over till next month for a planned flounder tournament event instead. Date, time, and rules to be announced later.
The Following are the Top-5 Tournament Anglers:
1st Place: Jeremiah Jordan of Winnie TX (41.12 inch Bull Red) Surf
2nd Place: Kirk Jordan of Ferris TX (37.78 inch Bull Red) Surf
3rd Place: Christy Sullivan of Beaumont TX (30 inch Bull Red) Pass
4th Place: Mitch Rembert of Sugar Land TX (28.04) Pass
5th Place: Tony Dillard of Dayton TX (21.12) Pass
A total of 59 anglers registered for the tournament with a total of $590 Plus Donations = $610 collected for a 50/50 payout of $305.
