Super Bowl LV or is it ?

Sorry, I just think the trophy in the middle makes it look like 54? Maybe they should have just stuck the trophy on top like they have in past years? I must tell you that I was disappointed when Tampa Bay beat Green Bay a few weekends ago. But, if I can’t have Aaron Rodgers, I’ll take Tom Brady … Therefore, I was rooting for Tampa Bay, call me a Fair Weather Friend.

Super Bowl 55? I just think the trophy in the middle makes it look like 54

BTW, a bit of trivia, did you know that Aaron and Tom are both #12? Forgot to mention, #13 Buccaneer, Mike Evans, Ball High Galveston Boy – YAY!

Entertainment: Are you kidding me? First of all, if you’re going to sing the National Anthem, don’t elaborate, don’t try to embellish, just sing it like it’s supposed to be sung! (I’ll probably come back to entertainment.)

So, at the half 21-6 Tampa Bay. After the half, OMG, KC just couldn’t come back. I found myself praying they’d get another touchdown toward the end, that sweet (I’ve forgotten his name already, let me go google) quarterback, Mahomes, tried with all his might, just couldn’t connect.

Oh, and a female official, so adorable, with the long blonde ponytail, Sarah Thomas, cute as a button.

They talked about how wonderful the weather was, well of course it was! It was in Florida for goodness sakes!

I’m going back to Entertainment now. I could have sworn that half time was going to be Dolly Parton, where did I hear that? I absolutely couldn’t wait until half time. Are you kidding me? Weeknd … ?? I’ve known for the past few years now, this entertainment isn’t geared for anybody my age any more. I know, my age is a joke, heck, it’s not even geared for anyone over 50 anymore. But Weeknd?? And what was with the drill team with headwounds? I know, I should have gone and taken my shower during half time, missed opportunity …

I really did enjoy some of the commercials. There again, most were geared toward a much younger crowd. A lot of Paramount commercials, interesting what’s coming up in Flicks these days huh?

I’d love to try a Melon Mountain Dew. My first chuckle Dr. Squatch, the masculine soap. The Cheetos with Ashton Kuchner and Mila Kunis, is this his wife? Frito Lay – The Night Before Super Bowl. Edgar Scissorhands when he caught the football and it deflated. And Four Tiny Maya Rudolphs riding ponies, harmonizing to These Boots are made for Walking, Klarna (I’ll have to read up on whatever Klarna is)? Serena in the Happy Michelob, I think motivational. Maybe close to being my favorite was Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton – “Need a ride home?” I especially liked the State Farm commercial, only because Aaron was in it!

Then, along came Dolly doing a “5 to 9” song/skit – voted among the worst 5 commercials for the Super Bowl, her first time to do a Super Bowl commercial. Oh Dolly, I’m so sorry!

Motivational Paralympic swimmer, Jessica Long, WOW! Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s – The Great Outdoors, get back to nature.

But my favorite was Matthew McConaughey’s Dorito commercial where he got stuck in the vending machine tied with Tums “Attack of the Heartburn Beast,” where the lady gets dragged away by the Red Hot Chili Pepper!
