Triple play at the beach

The Nagy family, from the St. Louis area, visited Crystal Beach last week for a large dose of sun and fun. Kris and Sarah have spent many a summer on Bolivar, but this was the first trip to the beach for their 21-month old triplets. Ella, Mia and Jack had a wonderful time playing in the surf and digging in the sand. Older sister, Elissa, helped entertain the babies, along with grandparents, Jim and Liz Sanders, and a whole bunch of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kris is a Major in the US Air Force and recently returned from deployment. “We love Crystal Beach, and we hope to have a home here someday. We want our children to grow up around the beach and learn to love it like we do.”

My friend and I have spent about 5 weeks on Bolivar this summer and dearly love the quality of life here. We plan to come back soon to resume our beach bumming life. A highlight of our visit is being a volunteer on Monday when the food truck arrives . We have met some of the nicest people who included us in their game playing on Tuesdays and Fridays. We have wonderful memories to take back home to Minden, La. Thank You people of Bolivar, May God continue to Bless You.
