Six shots down after four holes, Mike VanZandt gave himself little chance to catch up with Seaside Lumber Executive Dabney Harrison the Sunday morning before Christmas. Strange things happen at the Ranch however, and VanZandt birdied the ninth while Dabney Harrison and Mike Mitchell made double bogie to tie for second place.Harrison played the final four holes in five over par and Mitchell in four over par to allow VanZandt to escape with an unexpected victory. Soon to be parent Jason Pettit tied Mitchell and Harrison and Sweet Charles Brannon finished alone in fifth place.
