Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 2023 Awards Banquet last Tuesday evening at Jose’s Cantina Restaurant. The “Salute to Texas” theme welcomed a large crowd to honor the deserving recipients of the awards for Volunteer, Educator, Citizen, and Business of the Year. The room was beautifully decorated in red, white, and blue by Hollie Martin and her team. Guests were greeted at the door by friendly Chamber staff, and after everyone was seated dinner was served. Following the meal, Chamber of Commerce President, Anne Willis, welcomed guest speaker Keith Zahar, owner of the Gulf Coast Market. Keith gave a short history of The Big Store and spoke of the importance of setting goals in life.
