Meet the new King and Queen

The Bolivar Peninsula Lighthouse Krewe boasts 140 members, 80 of which gathered Sunday at a brunch hosted by the Krewe. The brunch, held at Coconuts, was decorated elaborately in Mardi Gras motif, with the beautiful Krewe Cape proudly displayed as the backdrop for the 2013 Court, comprised of five Duchesses and five Dukes. The ceremony takes place where each Duke and each Duchess is handed their own personal King Cake, only one cake for each has The Baby and whomever has the cake with The Baby is the crowned King and Queen.

Happy 2013 to our new Queen, Terry Molloy and our new King, Larry Campbell! The Crowning Ceremony will take place at the Krewe Ball on January 26.

Over eighty Krewe members packed Coconuts dining room to attend the annual Lighthouse Krewe Brunch to witness selection of the new King and Queen.
