Did you watch Downton Abbey, February 21st? Did you catch the last comment from Lady Edith to Lady Mary? Very powerful – “We will be the last to remember our family as it is today and yesterday.” That got me in the heart. Do you have family or friends you have not spoken to in some time? Is that really how you want to leave this world? You may not care but others will. By that, I mean your family. We all have someone that we have disagreed with at some time in our life and would like to take it back. Pride is our worst enemy! You are the bigger person if you reach out. You do not always have to say I’m sorry…at our age, they may have forgotten.
Life is way too short to carry anger or hate for you or the person you cared for at one time. If you have more than one sibling, there will always be a disagreement. Heck, I only have one sister and I know we have not agreed on many occasions, thank goodness we can laugh now. I would hate for there to not be a tomorrow, and we were unable to say “I’m sorry.”
