Winnie Vet taking care of our pets

Dr. Matak of the Winnie Vet visited the Peninsula again on Saturday, June 29th. Beginning at 9am, dogs and cats lined up at the pavilion outside The Joe Faggard Community Center to get their rabies vaccinations and ID chips. The ID chip is a small microchip the size of a grain of rice implanted under the skin of your pet to provide tracking information in case your pet wanders off or is lost. About 50 dogs were vaccinated for rabies, and 25 received the ID chip. Well done.
