Fishing Report & Tide Chart For Rollover Pass and Stingaree Marina, TX. Nov 5 to Nov-12, 2012

Summary: Two Flounder per day limit in effect until December 1st. Night time is best for speck and red action. Daytime flounder run providing plenty of keepers to 22 inches.  Croaker action slowing but still active.  Surf is giving up Bull Reds to 40+  inches.

Speckled Trout:
Early and late speck action but night time under lights is best for anglers wanting numbers.  (Size limits; 15 to 25 inches for 10 specks with only one over 25 inches per day as part of the daily limit).

Red fish:
Red fish action at the pass has been superb this season. Still providing both slots and Bulls for the red fish anglers in the surf or the cut. (Limits; 20 inches to 28 inches for 3 reds with one over 28 inches when tagged as part of the 3 fish daily slot limit).

Flounder:
Flounder run picking up speed with plenty of keepers filling the 2 per day limits.  REMEMBER, NOVEMBER 1st  marks the flounder limit dropping to 2 a day. (Limit; 14 inches minimum for 5 flounder per day).

Black Drum:
Drum good for the keeper eaters with some Bulls to 35 inches still hitting. REMEMBER, All drum under 14 inches and over 30 inches MUST be released. (Limits; 5 per day at 15- 30 inches).

Sand/Gulf Trout :
Good sand and gulf trout in the cut. (No limits).

Whiting/Croaker:
Whiting good but croaker slowing but still active. (No Limits).

Crabs:
CRABS are still CRABBING anglers baits so come and get them PLEASE!

Blue Crab:
Size/Limits- must be 5 inches across carapace (point-to-point). No creel limits, BUT ALL SPONGE CRABS (egged females) MUST BE RELEASED.

Stone Crabs:
Right claw only is kept if two are present. Stones with only one claw must be released. Right claw must be 2-1/2 inches from the knuckle before being kept.

Stingaree Marina and Bait Camp Report:
Birds are working and the trout and red bite providing plenty of limits.  Flounder picking up in the salt-grass areas and Rollover Pass areas with the North Jetty reporting great flounder action along the rocks.
