The Bay Vue United Methodist Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3719 are co-hosting a blood drive on October 5, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1411 Hwy 87, Crystal Beach, TX. If you are interested in being a donor, please contact L.B. Hunt at 281-546-9053 to schedule yourself a time, or go to either the Bay Vue United Methodist Church or the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Our goal is to get at least 30 people able to donate.

The 7th Annual DRIFTWOOD Charity Gumbo Cookoff will be held on October 13, 2018 at 2415 Sandman in the Driftwood Subdivision of Crystal Beach. There will be live music throughout the afternoon. DRIFTWOOD is hosting this event for the 7th year to raise money for charity. This is a fun filled day for a good cause. People can come out and taste some delicious gumbo even if they don’t enter the cook-off.
