The 3rd Annual DRIFTWOOD Charity Gumbo Cookoff will be held on April 26, 2014, 2382 Sandcastle in the Driftwood Subdivision of Crystal Beach. There will be live music throughout the afternoon. Diane and Wayne Blanks are hosting this event for the 3rd year to raise money for our local charities. The first year the winning purse was awarded to the Crystal Beach Volunteer Fire Department and the second year the purse was awarded to the Lion’s Club. This is a fun filled day for a good cause. People can come out and taste some delicious gumbo even if they don’t enter the cook-off.
