The Alpha Delta Pi Ladies gathered for their Fall beach retreat at Ashton Manor in Crystal Beach. They all attended Sam Houston State University in the 80’s, graduating from 1985 to 1989 or so. A tight-knit group, they’ve stayed in touch throughout the years, attended each others weddings, baby showers, etc. Every January these ladies get together at Dawn’s lake house in Canyon Lake. This year, they decided to throw in a Beach Getaway. Some came on Friday and stayed til Sunday, some just for a day, some Saturday to Sunday. “With everyone’s kids’ activities and commitments, you just come when you can.”

The Ladies spent Saturday morning hanging out at the house, drinking coffee, visiting and painting their nails while catching up with one another. That afternoon, they headed over to Latitudes for some shopping, then across the street to the Tiki Bar for drinks and snacks. You can’t come to the beach without stopping at The Big Store for much-needed supplies and more shopping. Everyone headed back to the house for a bit to relax, then off they went to Stingaree to experience the local cuisine. After a full weekend, staying up late to talk and visit, the Alpha Delta Pi gang packed up and headed home on Sunday, looking forward to their next Getaway Weekend.
