Generosity is the virtue of being benevolent and charitable in giving. And our Bolivar community is overwhelming in its generosity. This was shown again at the Party In The Park on Saturday night in Crystal Beach. Peninsula Sports Park (PSP) has been promoting youth sports on the peninsula for many years, and Party In The Park is their annual fall fundraiser. It is an evening of dinner, dancing, live music, and the oh-so popular live auction.
The weather was delightful and the atmosphere was festive as the aroma of pit-cooked BBQ hung in the air. Thousands of dollars were raised to help PSP continue to provide athletic programs to the young people of Bolivar.

- The Organizers, for their time planning and setting up the event;
- The Volunteers, for decorating the venue and keeping everything running smoothly;
- The Sponsors, for believing in PSP and supporting their mission;
- The Donors, for contributing unique and valuable items for the raffle and auctions;
- The Cooks and Servers, for providing everyone with an enjoyable meal;
- The Auction Bidders, for opening up their checkbooks;
- The Visitors who helped make this year’s Party In The Park a huge success.
