“IT” is finally really happening!

We have made the Bolivar Peninsula our home for the past 10 years plus! There is not a finer place to live. We have decided to sell our home here and move inland…and while it saddens us to leave long known and loved friends and family here we have other family that live near Dallas and they have begged us to move up their way for a long time.

There are too many things to list that we will miss….

Mostly I think I am personally proudest to have been elected the founding president of the Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation. Also, showing aspiring artists that they truly can be real artists! Never give up! There is something to be learned every time one picks up a paint brush and moves it across a canvas.

We will miss this unique place as it holds a special place and fond memories in our hearts. Family, the Gulf of Mexico, the Intracoastal Waterway, the Houston ship channel, the lighthouse, and the sunsets! Best flounder fishing anywhere, even the ferry rides! Yesterday we said “hello” to about a dozen porpoises! The most I have ever witnessed on a one way trip. I think they were saying “goodbye”. That occurrence is evermore etched in my Memory.

I will not be producing any more of the prints of Galveston Bay with local scenes. Visit Tropical Accents in Crystal Beach to purchase any that are left, as well as note cards with the same subjects.

Therefore, so long, not good bye, to all of our friends. We will miss you all dearly.

Hugs and sweet goodbyes to all my artist friends and students, and never give up!
