Ladies Casting for Conservation

fishing_00The Second Annual Ladies Casting for Conservation Tournament was a smashing success! The sponsors were generous and the teams went far and beyond in collecting donations. The event began with a Dinner at Barefoot Bill’s American Grill on Friday night to meet one another and fire up some great competition. We were more than ready to hit the hay and get a good start on the day to come. Twenty-two teams lined up early on Saturday morning by 6:00am to head out for “the catch!” The teams consisted of three ladies and one guide, professional or non-professional. The weigh-in and awards ceremony continued at Stingaree Down Under between 1:00-3:00pm. The teams all had “catchy” names, and the locals turned out in droves to witness and share the festivities.
