A new fun spot has rolled into town. The Gulf Range Miniature Golf course opened in Crystal Beach across from the post office. The activity spot is operated by Jim Sutjak and his son, Jim Jr. The custom 18-hole layout was designed by the Sutjaks and is ADA compliant with wheelchair access on each hole. This is a family fun venue complete with a practice green the shape of Texas, of course. Jim says, “I wanted something for kids to do!”
But it doesn’t stop with golf; they are soon adding arcade games, an outdoor game pavilion, a bar and grill. Indeed, kids and adults alike will have fun. “We hope to have the bar open by Memorial Day.”
Miniature golf hours of operation:
Mon-Thu, 4-8 pm
Fri, 4-10 pm
Sat, 10 am – 10 pm
Sun, 10 am – 6 pm
After Memorial Day, they will be open every day at 10 am.
