New King & Queen 2018 “Viva Las Vegas”

By Bobbey White
The Bolivar Peninsula Lighthouse Krewe welcomed 60 guests to the annual Brunch & Silent Auction held at Steve’s Landing. Steve’s Landing, decorated to honor this years “Viva Las Vegas” theme, served guests a scrumptious breakfast which included all the traditional favorites as well as Avocado Toast, Candied Bacon and New Orleans Bread Pudding!

The Royal Court consisting of Terry Malloy & Matt White, Gloria Walker & David Walker & Lydia Spirko & Bobby Spirko joined current Queen Shelly Butts & King Danny Butts at the beautifully decorated head table. They each chose a King Cake Cupcake donated by Cakes by Geri, to see who would find the “baby” and thus have the honor of becoming King and Queen for 2018.

Bobby Spirko found the “baby” in his cupcake and promptly chose his beautiful wife Lydia to be his Queen!
