We often sit around reminiscing about our “beach bum” days in Crystal Beach. Working at BayVue Grocery in the 1970’s, we crossed the lives of many in the local community. And, as life goes, paths diverge and we lose track of the friends we once knew.
Recently, we received an email:
Georgia and Tom
I have a photo of my two little ones swinging at your house in Crystal Beach many years ago. Denise and Wade Myers! Memories….they are 41 and 39 now! Kids rode the horses and Tom’s sisters baby sat for us some. All of the structures of our past have been taken by the rath of IKE, but not our heart photos, we love it down there and will always love it no matter what. We were so close to your parents and family while living in the area. I think Bolivar Pennisula is a beacon to the future, the positive attitudes and commitment to building a stronger community.
