Texas Crab Fest Sponsors Back On Board for 2014


Golf Cart Giveaway and 5K Fun Run

Adding to the fun of the Texas Crab Festival once again this year will be an exciting Golf Cart Giveway and a 5K Fun Run thanks to the generosity of long-time supporters Samson Energy and BRINT Construction.

 

Thanks to the fine folks at BRINT Construction, another lucky winner will go home with a brand-new golf cart. The golf cart will be the featured Grand Prize during a weekend of great giveaways at the festival. BRINT Construction is a family business that has been building homes on Bolivar Peninsula since 1985. They are consistent supporters of many local charitable projects.

After the 1st annual Samson Energy 5K Run/Walk kicked off with over 100 participants, organizers are looking forward to another successful year. The route winds down scenic beach roads dotted with charming homes, down near the beach and eventually ends up back at Crab Festival site at Gregory Park. The people at Samson Energy have been tireless supporters and active participants in various charitable projects on Bolivar Peninsula for many years.

Proceeds from the festival go to advance opportunities for residents of Bolivar Peninsula through educational scholarships, job-training grants and a variety of community-building projects through Texas Crab Festival Charities.
