Getting Ready

The Byus duo may be taking this too serious, which is not unusual for us. Whatever endeavor we undertake we have a tendency to over think all areas of the situations. On my side I have thought and re-thought each room or should I say area. I have rearranged drawers, closets and shelves and then, did it again. STOP! My beloved, RR, is about as bad. We have hundreds of new screws, nuts, and bolts. Of course there are good reasons for new man tools and supplies – not so much in my area.

Since January, we have been living in the Hood, RV Park. Life is very different from Boyt Road, Bayside, where every day was quiet from dawn to dusk. Not so much here. We know every time there is a fire, ambulance call or Sheriff in hot pursuit. When my sister and I were on vacation, one of the conversations between RR and me was about making sure when we travel that I should try to find parks a little more secluded. About that time, a police car came roaring by on my end of the call. RR said, “never mind, I’ll work on that detail.”

What I have learned about living in the Hood is everyone is friendly and very helpful. We have learned so much about our new way of living, from how to protect our home from the elements, to ways to find places to stay. I can only believe every step of this new endeavor will be fun and a learning experience.

I just hope we don’t over think the experiences.

Have a Good One.
