National Champ from Crystal Beach

We have a National Champion living right here in Crystal Beach. Robert Dunlap won the Vintage Ski 550 Class at the ProWatercross National Championship in Lake Charles on August 10th. This is his first National Championship! Robert has been riding jet skis for the last 5 years and has competed professionally for the last two years. Robert races a 1994 Kawasaki pro modified jet ski. This is the newest model allowed in his class. During the summer, Robert trains 7 days a week in the intracoastal next to Steve’s Landing or occasionally in the surf around Gulf Shores Drive.

If you see Robert around town, Congratulate him on his win!
