Hey y’all! This is the Remnant youth of the peninsula. We want to say thank you for honoring our veterans this year. We can’t forget what they fought for and why; FREEDOM! Because of that freedom, we were able to vote by November 5th. We hope you took advantage of that. Your votes not only effect you now but it effect our future as well. So, gain, thank you vets for giving of your lives so we have these freedoms to vote and worship an awesome Lord!
Speaking of awesome, we had two amazing events on November 16th and 17th. On the 16th all 55 of us had the privilege to enjoy the “Festival of Lights!” Youth and adults alike had a great time doing all kinds of attractions like ice skating, IMAX, aquarium. and the Rain Forest. The fund raising the youth did on November 9th helped provide the funds for the youth to these activities.
The other awesome event we had was a community fish fry at First Baptist Church Crystal Beach the following day, Sunday. God did amazing and wonderful things through men and youth of the church! The men cooked the meal and the youth served where ever needed. It was fantastic! Many served and many more came to enjoy some good cookin’. We even had activities for the younger kiddos!
Now for the December calendar. Our deadline for registration to Hot Hearts is the 1st. The cost is $35. It’s a day youth conference on January 31 to February 1. We will be spending the at Northend Baptist Friday night. More details on this event next month.
This year we are having a Christmas production called “We Three Spies!” The elementary school kiddos along with some the Remnant will be participating. The play will be on the 22nd as the evening service. It is going to be a wonderful time, so come and join us for the fun. Speaking of evening services. We would love for everyone to join us at the First Baptist Church Crystal Beach because we are having a Candle Light Communion Service on Christmas Eve night.
