Rollover Pass is open and the fishing is Great

rollover_0The Gilchrist Community Association held its 5th annual Crawfish Boil at Rollover Pass this past Saturday, May 30th. Heaping crawfish plates piled with corn and potatoes were sold for $10 per plate. Over 500 pounds of crawfish were boiled up for the event. Donations will assist with the legal fund. As of May 1st, the Federal lawsuit final briefs have been filed and GCA is currently waiting for Federal Judge Costa to make a determination. The County made an offer to purchase Rollover Pass but the offer was turned down. “We want to keep the fishing tradition of Rollover Pass open for all to use,” said Wayne Stupka – President of Gulf Coast Rod, Reel & Gun club, owners of the property.
