Saving Lives – GULF COAST REGIONAL BLOOD CENTER

“Some jobs change lives. Others save them,” is the motto of Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Crystal Beach Eagles #3719 and Bay Vue United Methodist Church (UMC) teamed up to sponsor their 8th Crystal Beach Community Blood Drive. Eagle’s L.B. Hunt coordinated the event. Twenty-four intended donors showed up to give blood on November 12 in the church parking lot. Eighteen qualified to do so. Those eighteen donors provided enough blood components for up to 54 patients.

Bay Vue UMC and Crystal Beach Eagles thank everyone who contributed to another successful drive. The workers patiently took names, gathered needed information and took care of donors. All who participated join a group of folk who definitely help in saving lives!
