Bolivar has come together to outpour support for the family of Caden Strimple. The community support has been overwhelming. Young Caden was involved in a water park accident two weeks ago and is still hospitalized for his injuries. The Strimple family continues to cope with this tragic incident. The Bolivar community is stepping up with fundraisers to help the family with medical costs.
On Wednesday night, Jose’s Cajun Restaurant hosted a steak dinner, Mexican bingo, and live auction. The efforts raised over $30,000. Another event was held in High Island a few days before raising over $20,000. The EAGLES presented a check to the Strimple Family, and Fun Town held a fundraiser on Monday. A golf tournament is planned for September 21st in support of Caden.
The goodwill of others is remarkable. Bolivar is kind and generous.
