Spring Fest Jeep Show Takes Over Festival Park

A Day of Fun and Fundraising for St. Jude Children’s Hospital
Festival Park was packed with Jeep enthusiasts and families last weekend for the Spring Fest Jeep Show. Dozens of tricked-out Jeeps competed for trophies in various categories, while live music and a Cajun food truck kept the crowd entertained. The event was organized by local Jeep enthusiast Matt Willoughby, who also serves as the administrator of two Jeep clubs in the Beaumont area. This was their first larger all-day event to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and it was a huge success. When asked if he thought everything went well enough to consider making this an annual event, Matt said, “Oh, yeah.” We can’t wait for next year’s Spring Fest Jeep Show!

Does anyone know the status of the proposed fishing pier at Rollover Pass. I haven’t heard anything about it for a while.
