Teachers are a Blessing

Bay Vue United Methodist Women (UMW) provided lunch on Tuesday, May 8, to the teachers and staff of Crenshaw School. UMW wanted to show their gratitude for all the services provided to pupils.

National Teacher Appreciation Day, also known as National Teacher Day, is observed on the Tuesday of the first full week in May. This day is a part of Teacher Appreciation Week, which is the first full week in May of each year.

UMW President Cindy Hunt coordinated the enterprise. UMW and Bay Vue members brought succulent salads and mouthwatering desserts to Crenshaw. Teachers and staff loaded up their during their luncheon breaks. Principal Terri Ward and others enjoyed the delicious homemade goods.

The UMW members were delighted to be able to express thanks for all the great things that Crenshaw educators do for our Bolivar Peninsula students.
